The Federal Office for Radiation Protection provides open and up-to-date insights into works carried out for the safe operation and decommissioning of Asse. In the Asse Info Centre located near the mine you get first-hand information about the Asse repository and BfS. You can participate in lectures and discussions or you can get registered for a visit to the mine.
Furthermore, BfS provides information about the repository with the leaflet “Insights into the Asse Mine”, films, animations, and other generally understandable materials. They can be downloaded at www.endlager-asse.de. The measurement results of environmental monitoring around the mine can also be publicly accessed via this internet page. Specially interested visitors can download numerous specific and application documents as PDF files.
